Hi Joshua, Thanks for your help. I have just tried this and it hasn't worked. I UnInstalled it from Add/Remove then re-booted, then deleted the Windows Live Directory from Program Files and the contacts list from Local Files. I'm not sure what else to do. I have filled in an error report with Microsoft, I hope they are aware of the issues with this latest version of messenger. I also get a window with Microsoft Error Reprting popping up asking me to send the report or not to send. There is no error code however. Well now i am back to square 1 where the men spin around for a bit, then take me back to the sign in button.
