RE: [request]Key press notifier
Your thread title and what you request in the post are two different things. Detecting a key press is something different than detecting a conversation window being opened. As for detecting a conversation being opened, please search the forums. There...

Please read the linked to posts and stick to the existing threads. This has been requested, discussed, and made already... No need for yet another thread about open window/ close window/ and other notifiers...

RE: [REQUEST] Window Close Notifier
A window close notifier is 100% not possible A window open notifier is possible although it won't always be accurate

RE: [REQUEST] Window Close Notifier
There haven't been any developments from my part I can assure you that. Although I agree with you and think that the close notifier has more interest then the open one It requires high level of scripting, programming and network understanding things...

RE: [REQUEST] Window Close Notifier
Has there been any developments on a window close notifier? I would rather have that than a window open notifier :D

RE: Help On Scripts ???
This has been made, and actually works (mostly, sometimes fake alarm, but actually works), and it's called Live Notifier :) And if I'm not wrong, the way to get when someone opens a window, is in .dll's not in pure JScript. :) Hope this was help...

RE: [Updated] Live Notifier V1.10 (formerly Convo Notifier)
This notifier doesn't react properly on 'BYE' messages. ------- maybe because it is less convenient? --------- added: altered Dutch translation to closer match Dutch translation of Plus! and messenger (and fixed error).

RE: [Updated] Live Notifier V1.10 (formerly Convo Notifier)
Yes, but some people would still like to have a potentially inaccurate notifier, than no notifier at all, since it still has some uses, like occasionally telling when people are appearing offline and stuff like that. Basically, people would rather s...

RE: [Updated] Live Notifier V1.10 (formerly Convo Notifier)
Wasn't it impossible to make an [i]accurate[/i] notifier for opened/closed conversations? I mean, that's why this feature was removed from StuffPlug... :undecided: ([url=http://www.stuffplug.com/forum/index.php?sho wtopic=1599]Here's the explanatio...

RE: [MAJOR UPDATE] IPGet v1.50 - lots of new features + Vista compatibility
As i said before, the direct connections might be between the user and a MSN server. As for detecting which user the direction connenction is with, I personally cannot think of a way to do it. In the GUI, it is not possible because that using someth...

it seems to pop up the persons ip address before they even initiate a file transfer with you (that you see visually) .. i've gotten a popup a few times, where i killed the connection with an individual & then... later on, when i was doing nothing.....

RE: [Release] Xniff (ActiveX Packet Sniffer) - Examples inside
@ nx01rules: yeah it does, it just a normal ActiveXObject, like Scripting.FileSystemObject, you can use them the times you want. @ CookieRevised: thanks, your opinion is always appreciated :) About the open/close notifier, I based that code on my tes...

RE: [Release] Xniff (ActiveX Packet Sniffer) - Examples inside
nice idea... However, since JScript is relative slow it is maybe advisible to also implement an optional port property in the ActiveX object which you can set before starting the trace [size=1](maybe even making it a string and accept multiple ports ...

[Release] Xniff (ActiveX Packet Sniffer) - Examples inside
Starting with the whole discussion about window open/close notifiers, with questions to get the contact's font, and some other things people would like to access but can't with the current script engine, I decided to try and create an ActiveX based...

RE: [Beta] Session Open Notifier for WLM (Formally known as Window Open Notifier)
Personally I like that quirk. As it lets you know when they're typing again after 60seconds (the 'user is typing message' doesnt seem to always show up if its gone 60seconds) - If anything is altered, maybe an option could be given to allow this ...

RE: [Beta] Session Open Notifier for WLM (Formally known as Window Open Notifier)
Yes, that might be possible, but this is the only time you would almost be certain the notification came from a opened window. All other times you are not certain at all. Also as you pointed out yourself, a contact can perfectly open a window without...

RE: [REQUEST] Who Has Closed The Window
Yeah leave the old thread open so that the people that were working on the open and close notifier discuss their progress, and if anyone argues just tell them to **** off. Basicly we dont care if it doesnt work 100%, we still want it. Full stop.

RE: The open/closed window notifier feature
1) By using "in it's present form" you imply that there is going to be another future form. 2) "Some of those", "not all", etc... hence it is not working, and you don't even have a good way to "guess" which are correct and which not. ------...
