RE: Messenger Plus! / Messenger Plus...? Patchou knows about that piece of [s]cra.[/s] software. TPA Soft and Patchou have had "communications" before if I'm not mistaken and there are other threads about this on the forum. RE: Copy cats For legal reasons they wouldn't without buying Plus! which wouldn't be so good...This would only be done as a last resource if something was threatening it, we'd also see a lot of crazy strategies to make it more popular. | Anubis | Skype & Live Messenger | 02-11-2005 at 08:07 PM |
RE: Copy cats mybe they should just save them selves the trouble and include the msgplus! installation package in the MSN messenger install program and i don't see any competition between AIM/Y!, there just imitations, does anyone even use ICQ anymore | NiteMare | Skype & Live Messenger | 02-11-2005 at 07:54 PM |
RE: Beta build 604 of Microsoft's MSN Messenger 7. I'll always go with msn messenger for its support and mesenger plus!, stuffplug etc... msn messenger is just trying to go for the 'everything else' thing, the dp in the contact list, like the aim buddy list... Its just getting everything else, it... | user27089 | Skype & Live Messenger | 02-11-2005 at 12:01 PM |
RE: Copy cats I admit, some features are akin to those in Plus. However, you've got to remember MSN is competing with AIM and Y!M, and I know for a fact Y!M has personalised statuses. So it's more a case of keeping up with the competition than copying Patchou. | RaceProUK | Skype & Live Messenger | 02-11-2005 at 09:24 AM |
RE: feat.sugg: Auto-Accept Folder Bah, has anyone used the direct connection in AIM ? I really like that feature. Makes sending pictures less painful, since you dont have to have it on your hdd later. | Titty | WLM Plus! General | 02-02-2005 at 07:02 AM |

RE: Messengers and AIM As far as I know, none of the protocols are natively supportive of interoperability between all the different IM clients out there. Suggestion: Pop-Up notification window Sorry if this has already been suggested or if its accually already in Plus! but i was wondering if maybe a pop-up window can also be put in Plus! besides the toast when someone is online or whatever.
