RE: Reduce MEM
Never choose options 1 or 2 in the script (see above why*). ** because of the usage of external files, dlls and the .NET library in the original ReduceMEM script, the whole Messenger footprint will need _more_ cpu usage than when the script was never...

RE: [Request] Default browser, old transfer frame, spell checker
Unfortunately, I have to tell you that none of your requests are possible. [list=1] [*]Plus! scripts aren't able to do this. If you don't need the other features of Stuff Plug, simply disable them! ;) [*]This has been discussed before but I'm afra...

If I knew what half the specs you listed were, it would not have made my head hurt trying to think of what the hell those things are, I do however know what some are. Thanks for the advice :). I guess I'll start looking around today at different br...

RE: Cryptographic key can't be created
I have sort of the same problem as descibed above. I've experienced it before under WinXP, and was not able to figure it out then. But the weirdest thing is that when it happened this time, it didn't happen before after the second install of MP!L. ...

RE: New PC Build
Maybe you should do some research first.. That hardware is awfully outdated.. Here's a brief (like a sketch) list of what you should try to buy : A good case, which provides good airflow (incase you want air cooling, if we're talking about water co...

RE: New PC Build
The money you can spare if you buy some smaller screen can be better used for other critical things like memory and/or cpu. Two 20" screens is seriously over the top if you ask me, especially if you need to cut down on other components. A screen is...

RE: New PC Build
Seeing as youre not going to be gaming, as you said in your previous post, get a nVidia 7300 GS. I used to have that and it ran dual screens fine. Well, i got bored so I went to overclockers.co.uk and set some up.. You would have to get a bigger bud...

RE: New PC Build
Same things what the others already said, and: That mostly depends on your graphics card, not your motherboard. Get a decent graphics card which supports dual view (not all do! some only support clone view), and one with two DVI connectors (not one w...

First decide what your laptop should include and what the specs need to be. Decide what is important to you: graphics, disk storage, cpu, connectivity, external ports, ... on what should the emphasize be on (eg: for what is your laptop going to be u...

RE: Scripting API Wishlist
I agree with Mattike. And the great thing is not only to translate controls or reduce CPU... the great thing is that you can create a window with dynamic controls, ie: when developing the script, the developer may not know how many buttons his window...

RE: Scripting API Wishlist
I just got a nice idea for a feature! What do you think about creating a Plus! window based on an actual string instead of creating it based on a file name? That way, we could first load the XML in the script, make some changes and then create the wi...

RE: Odd border.
The border remains there until the window is closed. The window works fine, no delays or CPU usage.

RE: Odd border.
while the border is there, do you note that the conversation window is not refreshed as often as it should be? Do you have a lot of processes (taking CPU time) running at the same time? I think that the border appears because the windows does not res...

RE: Hellish processor usage
That will use more of his processor, the script is to reduce the memmory usage and subsequently requires the use of CPU to be able to do it.
