RE: Virtual Memory then just get another 32mb or if 1 slot, get a 64mb ram chip (should be really cheap) and install win2k i ran win2k in a virtual machine with 64 megs of ram (but same cpu as real pc (1.6ghz)) and it ran faster than xp. so no need to worry about speed... | Supersonicdarky | Tech Talk | 01-06-2007 at 02:35 AM |

RE: Find out CPU temp I think he means that it can show the temperature of each core in a dual core cpu, which is something speedfan cannot do. Which is correct. | Dr4g0n | Tech Talk | 01-03-2007 at 08:23 PM |

RE: Find out CPU temp All programs that monitor your CPU monitor the CORE Temp of the CPU. There ain't any other temp to monitor lol As i said if your not doing over clocking and aren't having issue's with your pc stay away from system monitors. RE: Find out CPU temp Speed fan has to be compatible with your motherboard and stuff moreless to pick up that sort of information. If your fans werent working your CPU would over heat very quickly(most cases). Also you'd hear a strange beeping noise as your PC would be t... | joemailey | Tech Talk | 01-03-2007 at 09:16 AM |
RE: Find out CPU temp That's what I have now. But after a while it goes up and it's too noisy. I have been meaning to get another fan or a new one (don't have a clue about these sort of things) one day. When I encode DVDs I can get around 60+. Which is VERY noisy. | linx05 | Tech Talk | 01-03-2007 at 08:40 AM |
