RE: Request: A translation program for website translation @Kian: What bothers me is mainly the usage of the paging file, not the CPU. FrontPage 2003 is nothing like its predecessors, and I like it better because it's simpler/lighter and it supports Hebrew well, even if it has less features. I don't know w... | sock | Translation | 06-14-2004 at 04:44 AM |
RE: Max server load limit You cant really increase the limit to more than it is already set. The server is not designed to handle high loads and this is why this limit is set, to prevent server failures. Server loads are calculated so that if the load on a crappy server (eg ... | surfichris | Forum & Website | 06-12-2004 at 09:33 AM |
RE: Calling all linux users not really, it all depends on the source coding, if it is very well made with a high itegrity, the Operating system is less likely to crash. RE: Request: A translation program for website translation ...erhm... DreamWeaver does not use that much CPU - not more that other programs... once I had the same problem (enormous usage of CPU) but a re-install corrected that problem :D Try install it again - it is actually a great program (compared to Fro... | Kian | Translation | 06-10-2004 at 11:58 AM |

RE: Installing Mandrake 10 Have you tried installing Mandrake 10 in Text Mode? for a graphical install you need atleast a faster Cpu than you have now. but if you want more advice on installing Mandrake10 use Newsgroups an search for the alt.os.linux.mandrake Newsgroup, th... | Hank | Tech Talk | 06-07-2004 at 12:04 AM |
RE: 16 seconds to show the menu I thought that the 34 meant the munber of icons in the system tray. 34 running processes, including the system ones is right. your screen shot of the task manager seems right (sistem idle process -> 99% cpu (Y)) | Choli | Tech Talk | 06-05-2004 at 10:56 PM |
RE: 16 seconds to show the menu That is normal, svchost is a system process. What are all the others you have? the amount of mem they are using, and what is your CPU % at? | matty | Tech Talk | 06-05-2004 at 10:15 PM |
RE: 16 seconds to show the menu I don't like that. Some settings are usually lost and some programs won't work after the reinstall and you have to install them again. A clean installation is always better. | Choli | Tech Talk | 06-05-2004 at 09:23 AM |

RE: Computer fan's and temperature Nope. New question: Can the comp show a Blue Screen when it becomes too hot? I get them now and then and now when I think about it - it has always been a warm day and I get it almost only on summers. RE: Computer fan's and temperature that depends on what processor you have and if your programs are idle (you're doing nothing at the computer) or they're using a lot to CPU time (like you're always playing a game, or you have a program like seti@home, etc...) do any friend of you... | Choli | Tech Talk | 06-02-2004 at 11:14 AM |
Computer fan's and temperature Recently I checked the computer fan and temperature status in the bios. I found out that the computers temperature was pretty hig (I think)(CPU 61 C and System 44 C). It also said that I had only the CPU fan running, but I checked and both fans where... | Vilkku | Tech Talk | 06-02-2004 at 05:58 AM |

RE: Software you couldn't live without Your CPU melted...you didn't say anything about your HD 8-) :P Also, I make back-ups weekly, that's why I'm saying that ;) | .blade// | Tech Talk | 05-28-2004 at 11:01 PM |
RE: Software you couldn't live without I'll tell it again: My CPU melt. I didn't tell it to wait until I had backed up my files. I still have my programs, but I'm to lazy to reinstall them. I only had to format a 10GB partition only windows uses (almost nothing is installed there). Bu... | KeyStorm | Tech Talk | 05-28-2004 at 10:58 PM |
RE: Software you couldn't live without Well, Messenger Plus seems kinda obvious. My CPU got melted by a defective liquid refigeration (it lose liquid over the motherboard :dodgy:) and it screw up both. Luckily my HDD remained intact. RE: For gamers only - E3 You have no idea, do you? X-box's games don't have storylines. It's "win the boring race and score kudos" or "Kill that motherf###. Takes this! Aargghhh... RE: For gamers only - E3 Blade obviously doesn't know real gaming. Gaming isn't about having the best Graphics or the best CPU Card.
