My contacts displaypicture isn't big though my settings is set on it.

If I remember correctly when MSN Messenger 7.0 came out, you had to have the same programs at both ends (you and your IM buddy you were messaging) of the converstion window otherwise it would work because of a change in the protocol. Ensure in format of the file. It should be jpg, jpeg, png, which are official formats of display picture. It could also be occured by corrupted images. Make sure that isn't a corrupted one.
