RE: Reputation idea
I know it's only rep - but for some reason people do care about it. And if it helps the community it is only doing good.

RE: Reputation idea
It is a good idea, but really if you see someone who has just done a rep-back then you should report the rep. Although it is hard to do this as we're not going to notice rep-backs that easily and stuff. *-)

Reputation idea
Well, I've seen more people giving payback negs because they have a neg of -4 or something. And as there are many more people joining our community I think we should add a new feature. The feature being: Not being able to rep people until you get t...

Forum Ranking/Reputation
I was just wondering what all the ranks are for on the MP! forum. I gathered 10 posts = Junior Member, but what about the others? Also, what is reputation and how do you get it/lose it?

RE: Reputation reason guidelines

RE: Reputation reason guidelines
Ohh... that was given to you for that.... well... in that case it's not a good reason... but if somebody would actually physically ask for a positive rep and somebody put that... then I think it would be okay.

RE: Reputation reason guidelines
actualy its not a good reason, actualy because this was once given to me, and i haven't once asked for a rep, placing a link in your signature is not begging, its suggesting, its your choice to click it or not

RE: Reputation reason guidelines
TBH... I think that's a good reason :p... That was meant for a guy who was rep begging.... (i've seen it before... just can't remember where)

RE: Reputation reason guidelines
Well, I still think that simply having a "latest reputations" page that admins could access would really cut down on the crappy votes. However, being the lazy bastard that I am, I haven't coded it yet. :p

Of course he isn't using smet's mod (as you know zaher1988) because it's not his code and it's much too buggy (sorry smethead(a)) but I still think something should be done about reporting reps.. maybe if users "spam report" they get suspended ...
