I recommend StuffPlug over A-Patch unless you want the extras in A-Patch. Patching infringes the EULA, but StuffPlug uses a different method which is fully legal. Outlook is the default EMAIL reader (not news like mentioned earlier) and everything else is set to off. I have found StuffPlugin and it works great!
