RE: 2 Physical Drives -> One Logical Drive
If it's an Eee 901 you're better off upgrading the 16GB SSD. The 4GB isn't really big enough to install Windows 7 cleanly, and the 16GB SSD is pretty damned slow. The recommended options are usually XP on the 4GB and documents and shizz on the 16G...

1) How does one avoid the kids using Web Messenger? Right now it can easily be accessed, even from within 'Messenger for Kids':

In Windows 7 right-click on the Plus! Kids icon in the taskbar. The jumplist is shown. In this jumplist u...

RE: Project K Suggestions
My suggestions: Emails sent by Plus Kids should contain a tag in the subject (like [PlusKids]) in order to easyly apply filters on them. When the pasword is lost and the parent says she forgot it, Plus Kids should generate a new random password, inst...

RE: Generic Subclassing Helper DLL
There might be a bit more interest if it wasn't in the beta testing forum :P Edit: I am interested btw, forgot to add that bit.

RE: Can't verify msn adress
...which means I cannot use my last name instead of a "live.com" or "hotmail.com" adress? The only way I could customize my msn like that would be to buy the actual domain, huh? Shame. I was really looking forward a cool msn adress.

RE: JIT - Debug popups
The error came from an installed script (the reasons for the error are explained by SmokingCookie). However, that source you showed seems to be a (older?) buggy version of WLNameEditor[/u...

RE: Tutorial on How to Let a Script-Callable DLL Handle Scripting Objects
Okay, I've got the .tlb file; now what? :P Visual Studio won't add a reference to it. EDIT: I've got it in VS's object browser atm, and it does indeed show the members described by Mnjul.

RE: Generic Subclassing Helper DLL
Yeah, I'll fix it in the next update. As for the source, there's nothing to write home about - the jscript callback is implemented as outlined in my tutorial's advanced topics.

RE: Generic Subclassing Helper DLL
Good job, Mnjul. I haven't tested it yet, but have read the code: In the coments of addSubclass, you say it takes 2 parameters. It actually takes 3 (handle, function and "this"), so you may want to fix it ;) Are you going to share the source code ...

RE: A few questions.
I'm pretty sure you can use Interop.GetCallbackPtr inside the DLL to get the address of a jscript function (as long as you know the function name and the number of parameters). Then, cast the return value into an appropriate C++ function pointer th...

RE: A few questions.
Going a bit of topic with this I guess.... but Maybe you actually don't need MnJul's method. In scripts you can use timers. Let's assume these timers are created internally like any other timer in Windows (seems logical). If that is tru, then coul...

Yup, an external DLL (Native, ActiveX, .NET, whatever) is the only way at the moment afaik. Luckally, as you have seen, MnJul has shared a technique which will let you grab Plus! object...

I'm not doubting anything in the beta mail. But if the Project K mention in the changelog refers to the project for Microsoft, or something else, or was a setup for april fools I don't know.
