RE: I Need a Plugin That Will...
Well it stays the same size your end anyways unless you are using MSN 7 (which is an illegal BETA) so it might look like it's not working for you but it should be for your contacts. When you add your dp it will ask you if you want to keep the origin...

RE: Stuffplug-NG, Over-Sized Picture doesn't work.
First enable Bigger DP's in stuffplug: open convowindow > plus > plugins > stuffplug NG > configure.. check "Enable oversized Display pictures" <ok> After you've done that add a new display picture and choose yes when prompted if you wanna keep i...

RE: STuffplugNG over size display pictures bug
I strongly suggest that you and your contact resizes your display pictures to a more normal size (max 200x200 pixels)!!! Using such massive pictures like you two do is not only annoying and doesn't only take very long to be transmitted, it is also e...

RE: Stuffplug NG Help...
thanks for that
Everytime i sign in, stuffplug popups come up saying that they have to be disabled, such as: - the 10,000 character message length - oversized custom emoticons - disable 3 file transfer limit - message when user closes window the...

RE: [French] Photo grand format
Nope, you don't need to buy anything. You only need to download and install a plugin for Messenger Plus!, called StuffPlug-NG: It can be found here: http://www.stuffplug.com/ To activate the install, you need a validation code, which can also be fou...

RE: Annoying Oversize Display Picture
thats why SPNG's oversize feature should be only given to trusted contacts and people that know they shouldnt put anything bigger than 300x300 - 350x350

RE: Annoying Oversize Display Picture
What if we want to have a tastefully oversized (or an undersized) dp. But dont want to see huge ones. There could be an option to be able to use them, and one to be able to see them

RE: Annoying Oversize Display Picture
tbh, this can be done in VB: A proxy? possible... Hooking messenger? possible... Intercepting/playing with the protocol? possible... (eg: Messenger Discovery)

RE: Annoying Oversize Display Picture
/sapplause Cookie. I like that much. But now we need someone to do it. And since MSN Messenger willl have less users in the following months, it's not very practical to design something for it. It would be interesting as part of SPNG (used locally A...

RE: Annoying Oversize Display Picture
Indeed, this "plugin" (more like an addon for messenger, due the way it has to be made) wouldn't be easy to make at all; You need advanced programming knowledge for this: You need to intercept the DP and change it before it is saved in the cache o...

RE: Annoying Oversize Display Picture
Well this is probably the reason why Microsoft have made it in MSN Messenger 7 that it resizes all pictures. Unfortunately that is, because oversized pictures can be very good if they are not abused. There should be an option somewhere to turn it off...

RE: Increase amount of sendable smilies
you can use stuffplug to do such a thing, it also allows you to view and have oversize emoticons and disables autocomplete, you can get it from here: http://www.stuffplug.com

RE: Plus! auto detection
Again, I think the problem is not that you're trying to be helpful, but the rather demeaning tone and blatant calling of something a "fact" that isn't truly a fact. Your insight is usually quite helpful. The "I'm right, you're wrong" attit...

RE: receiving oversized emoticons without SPNG
It wouldn't be totaly impossible what you suggest, but it will be very extremely hard to do. Converting pure bitmaps to vectors is not easy at all and in fact it will screw things up 99% of the time. (and if they are not screwed up, they will be ver...
