maybe. Though All I could say is be realistic. A normal GIF of 96x96 would be around 5KB, a GIF from a real photograph would be around 10KB.... So 200 KB is very big. I think the WLM developers know exactly what they are "missing" - having oversized display pictures is extremely annoying, the current size is imo big enough.
