REMOTE_ADDR is the most reliable/common, and can be trusted. However, it doesn't always show the correct IP if you're using a proxy. Can anyone help me set up Messenger Discovery via Remote Assistance (I know this would be difficult with the restarts involved). Does anybody know of a plug-in to Plus! or any other program that would allow you to send messages to your contacts while your status is "appear offline".
