This isn't the fault of Messenger Plus! but the fault of how Windows Live Messenger handles the overflow of icons by resizing the name space. It isn't deleted. Widen the contact list and it will appear. That Messenger Plus! is not working can be caused by many other programs. SweetIM and SmileyCentral are only 2 of the most common causes.
