Did you try using Messenger without Plus? Close Messenger and Plus (press CTRL+ALT+DEL and close msgplus.exe) and then run Messenger only, if it still fails then it has nothing to do with Plus. No, msg plus! does not contain virusses it has an OPTIONAL sponsor. Also you have MSN 7 and plus! isnt compatible with that yet so thats why you get these messages.
