RE: May I ask why there are antivirus program indicate the MsgPlus has Trojan and unwante
The older versions of Messenger Plus! Live came with a sponsor that was usually classed as "Adware", it wasn't malicious, it was entirely optional to install, but would display approved popup adverts at certain intervals. For this reason, things l...

RE: The dreaded "We are unable to run audio and video setup" problem.
May be its because you are using a program called McAfee Security Center. This issue is resolved in SiteAdvisor versions 2.9.256+ and 2.8.306+. To verify what version of SiteAdvisor you have installed: * Open your web browser * Click the drop...

RE: Response to the nationwide internet filter in Australia,
oh and theres like a 95% chance that if a filter is applied, legitimate sites will be blocked off as well. Similar to how some places like the McAfee site advisor thinks Plus! site is bad, when it isnt, (its just there because of ignorant uneducated...

RE: high treat
Unfortunately, Norton is just copying McAfee with SiteAdvisor. contacting them will do no good, I already tried. At some point, they got to flag web sites to make their services look interesting, that's how those companies make money. It's disgusti...

Yep, I have contacted Mcafee many times about this, asking to at the ver least be marked "Yellow" and I never even got an answer. Those AV companies really are nice fellows, they don't even listen to their own users (check the comments on site adv...

RE: Mcafee and XoftSpySE treats MsgPLusLive as a Spyware
The only low 'risk' there is, is that you can explicitly install the sponsor (it will never ever be installed automatically without the user's explicit approval) and as a result are presented with ads... so, no spyware, nor virusses, nor whatever ...
