RE: Can someon make a script for speellchecking?
Custom emoticons won't be much of a problem, people will need to add them to their ignore list. There are bigger problems than that, trust me. :P

RE: Can someon make a script for speellchecking?
How would you like it to be checked. Could you be bothered clicking the SpellCheck Button Everytime u send a message? If u checked it for spelling wen you sent the message wouldnt you every want to not check for spelling? This could get a very annoyi...

RE: Can someon make a script for speellchecking?
I personally dont agree with spellcheckers, as you don't learn how to spell properly you'll get in the habit of using this. I mean ya sure you might make the odd mistake, but you check over it ;)

Can someon make a script for speellchecking?
Can someone make a script for speellchecking using the spell checking system of openoffice (aspell or something like that) or of microsoft office for the messenger plus live? idont know how to do it so i'm giving the idea

Spell Check Script Strongly needed
I am sure a Spell Check script for MSN live! can be written that may underline the mispelled word, or simply takes it from MS Word that notifies the writer of mistakes. This will greatly improve many peoples' spelling!! Great Job by the way! Cheers

Is there a script that will spell check your messages?

RE: [Updated] Live Notifier V1.10 (formerly Convo Notifier)
Corrected the spelling error. Check the opening post. I know, but that one didn't work for me (I got the 'WsaIoctl failed', and I have a wireless connection), so I created one for myself which doesn't have those problems.

RE: [Request] Auto Correct
It's easy enough to make a script place a ' into words which need it, because you could just make a list of all the words that need it. But for actually correct grammar that would be quite tricky. You would just actually have to make your ow...

RE: Slang Replacer
Word boundaries don't always work that great, that's why I always use (^|\s+) and ($|\s+).

RE: Slang Replacer
Hmm wouldn't this be better?
/\bbr\b/mgi
Doesn't need to check if its at the begining or not or space character as it looks for word boundries, And works with punctuation. Plus it doesn't chop out the space. Also the writer should ...

RE: Idea: script that keeps track of smartness ("spell checker script with a twist")
Instead of an online dictionary, maybe it could check your text against a file that contains common spelling mistakes.

Idea: script that keeps track of smartness ("spell checker script with a twist")
On another forum I noticed a script that they had running. It kept track of a person's "smartness" based on common misspellings and their grammar. I was wondering if it would be possible to set something like that up with Messenger Plus! Live. ...

RE: How do you turn off spell check in FireFox 2 Beta 1?
 in about:config, or by directly editing the user.js, set layout.spellcheckDefault to 0 to disable spell checking by default. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Layout.spellcheckDe fault1

RE: How do you turn off spell check in FireFox 2 Beta 1?
I've found this: type in the address bar about:config and in the filter box, type 'layout.spellcheckDefault' (with out quotes) then set it to 0 I haven't tested it yet though but it should work :P
