RE: Just incase Jieff is still around
The integration of MyBB with a .NET web site was the very first thing I considered last year. The problem is not making a PHP site work with a .NET site. But you end up having to maintain two DB profile (across two different type of DB) and maintain...

RE: Messenger Plus! 5.02
We aren't the developers. http://shoutbox.menthix.net/showteam.php The Yuna Software section, with the exception of Nathalie and Jieff, are the developers.

RE: Messenger Plus! release policy
To be honest, those points were already suggested on these forums a long time ago and many of them repeated after each release. So forgive us that we all have become very sceptical about it...

RE: Just incase Jieff is still around
*bump* Actually wouldn't mind a bit of an update on that myself. IMO the new forum right now shouldn't be a high priority. After all we have a functional forum without any real problems (unless the server crashes/gets hacked). There is still quite...

RE: Messenger Plus! release policy
Hi, The release cycle pointed out by Jieff and explained by Menthix has been already followed when releasing Plus! 5. Please note that 5.00.702 was the first version of Plus! released by Kimahri Software team. We all agree that this release was a ...

RE: Messenger Plus! release policy
I'm a bit late to the party. Good to hear this, but I can understand the skepticism from some people. After all, we are in this kind of situation for a year now. @Yuna: How many screwups does...

RE: Maintenance
I'm not personally aware of anybody else experiencing the problem (that isn't to say it isn't affecting other people though) I would suggest sending them an email about this ([s]http://support@yunasoftware.com/[/s] support@yunasoftware.com/). In t...

RE: Messenger Plus! release policy
Now it comes back to me. You are totally right, this is the difference. My main concern with the web installer was also that it would increase the burden on the file servers. We all know that people install and re-install the software so many time...

(y)... Some additional tip/request (just in case): since 5.02.0712 was released, update the build number for the next release or fix, no matter what, even if the current 712 build should be considered an accident/non-existing/flaw/not good/wha...

:D Cool, I did not think of that one. This is not a bad idea. This is something to consider in the upcoming versions (5.2 maybe?).

Messenger Plus! release policy
Hi everybody, I just got out of a conference call with an executive at Yuna. As I said before, someone screwed up and release the software without going through us (Kimahri and the community). This behavior will not be tolerated anymore. Yuna agreed ...

RE: So we're just derping around now?
well jieff seriously, we've lost quite a few testers already, you guys (yuna , kimahri, i dunno) should at least try to do things "the proper way". It seems like Plus is becoming malware, i bet it will start to be detected as such soon (sponsor c...

RE: So we're just derping around now?
Well, you know what they say: Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. I admit, this is the second time around. So yeah, shame on me. 5.02 was not supposed to be release like that. 5.1 CANNOT be release before going through a solid bet...

RE: So we're just derping around now?
No sense having the tester tag, I don't test anything. There's nothing given to us, and we look like complete morons when this crap quality software gets out. Time and time again, you've been given chances to get better, as "they're just startin...

RE: So we're just derping around now?
I decided to see what they did with this new version. What I found was just shocking.

The setup is now a web installer and apparently there's no full installer available. I wonder whether the /silent install option still works.
They dec...

RE: PlusService.exe (and "Plus World")
Plus! service can be disable from the preference menu like it was before. If it does not behave as so then it is a bug. The goal is to detect when a Plus! setup is broken by another software. This detection was done within Plus! in the past. But it ...
