RE: Messenger Plus! 5 information
Other forum boards for this forum have been heavily discussed in the past. The thing is, this is not just mybb anymore, although it look like it is. It is a heavily modified version. Yes it may lack some of the features forum boards have these days. ...

RE: Messenger Plus! 5 information
I'll live to see the day that Yuna is going to develop its own messaging application. I'm kinda looking foward to it now. Is there any thoughts about it?!

RE: [SOFTWARE-671] default installation map and complete removal of old folder [WARNING!]
Sunshine I didn't tell you how to do your job properly. Sorry if you thought I did. On the contrary, I also pointed out:(y). But (n) for Yuna for not properly fixing it in the first place.

RE: [SOFTWARE-671] default installation map and complete removal of old folder [WARNING!]
Well I did log your bug too and in them I put what you wrote so don't tell me I'm not doing my job properly....also there are some differences here: - always use previous installation folder when exists and only use previous non-default installati...

So, I assumed this was already described.

RE: [SOFTWARE-671] default installation map and complete removal of old folder [WARNING!]
/me bumps on a related subject. Build 673 still insists on installing in 'C:\Program Files\Yuna Software\Messenger Plus!' even when an older Plus! version is already installed in a different (non-default) folder. Repro:[list][*][url=http://www.m...

RE: tudum tudum (8)
Yeah, short after I've posted that question I found out about 'other' stuff Plus! was going to be 'compatible' with since it was posted/explained in some other post from Yuna (cba to search and link to it). But this said, I still believe the dir...

RE: software - change setup complete emoticon
I logged it now, pointing to this discussion. For a suggestion (just like for bug) we need more than "I, don't like it", "It's ugly!", "It doesn't work".... 2602 change setup complete emoticon

RE: software - change setup complete emoticon
Kimahri is the office in Montreal. Lead by Jieff and Patchou, they do the development of Plus! and the website, including graphics and design. Yuna owns Plus!, they have people in various places, but mainly Israel and they deal with promoting Plus!, ...

RE: Admin/Mod Status
That's nice to know, because as i stated many times already, we dont really wanna get out of mybb at the spanish forums :P We have no problem if you want to integrate the myplus account or whatever, but changing mybb for us could mean the few helpe...

RE: Admin/Mod Status
heya! I got your mail Chromo, and I just read every single post here. Seems like JF already took care of most I wanted to say. To confirm on what you were saying earlier, JF is no Nathalie and without going into too much details, I'm sure that by no...

RE: Admin/Mod Status
i hope and wish the spanish community could stay as is, if you want to integrate myplus accounts into mybb i have no problem, but i REALLY prefer having mybb as is than moving to the new system (speaking for all the spanish forum admins here). i hop...

RE: Admin/Mod Status
Yuna is not forcing anything regarding the forums. This project was initiated by Patchou and me. I'll see what Patchou is proposing regarding this. As far as communication goes, Yuna did a very bad (but very bad) job with this. This is why we are t...

RE: software - change setup complete emoticon
Yuna has designers, they can make a new one :P add it as a suggestion maybe so they can decide if they'll change it or not?

RE: Admin/Mod Status
i get that but that was not the point :P i simply mentioned the size of the community because losing even a single helper is bad enough for us. And by size of the community i mean people actually visititng regularly, because if it's for the ammount...

RE: Admin/Mod Status
Well, I don't know about that. I have a lot of influence with Yuna, but I don't know if I have enough to make that kind of thing happen :$

RE: Admin/Mod Status
Ok, let's give it another try :P It is not actually a replica of the forum for each language. It is the same forum code that manage multiple languages (the languages will be segregated within a MSSQL DB in cluster). From the user perspective, it do...

RE: Admin/Mod Status
Hi everybody, I admit, I'm guilty of this mess. I thought you all new about the project. After all, when I joined I was told there was a community liaison that took care of the com (yeah sure :P). The goals were the following: - Provide new dynami...

RE: Admin/Mod Status
I had to put the thread in a top level forum as it was preventing access in the staff forum. As I said, I'm kind of done once the Yuna transition for the forums is complete. I haven't had access to the sound servers in a long time and with this, W...

RE: Admin/Mod Status

RE: Admin/Mod Status
Sounds like the next step to the discussion is who do we think would make some good replacements if they want to keep it community based instead of bringing in Yuna reps?

I hope for that too. Kinda in need of financial support right now.

RE: Admin/Mod Status
who? Jieff? He's the only smart one out of the people i have seen and im not sure he can tell us more from yuna's side. But yeah, if he is the one responsible of the website project, maybe he can let us know :P what do you think wdz? :P Maybe give...

RE: Admin/Mod Status
well tbh since yuna bought plus (or whatever happened, we'll never know), they probably own this place, the data and such. im pretty sure patchou said that "the data on the forums was ours and not yuna's", but i may be wrong... and even then, is...
