RE: Community Liaison - clarification
The two we've seen were both relocated, so I don't think that's it :P. It's much more likely that it's from the company that bought Yuna.

True Google is an extreme case. But remember, Plus! has been bought/invested in. This is what makes it possible to create an office in Montreal and hire people in the first place. Who says the investing entity didn't already have an office in Israel...

RE: Community Liaison - clarification
But this is a newely founded company that focuses on 1 bit of software. You can't compare yuna to google. So still this sounds dodgy.

i'd guess she's been in israel for a while :P i guess it's a good thing for yuna that she's canadian though, as it'd make it easier for them to send her to montreal if she was needed for whatever reason :p.

Yes they do, that's why vanessa and nathalie were posting from that country :P. Patchou also stated it somewhere on the forums publicly ;)

O_o Yuna has an office in Israel? Don't mind if I go... WTF? (Y) on the name though. I always figured that name Vanessa and you had on here were really not professional looking at all.

http://www.msgpluslive.net/news/2010/03/04/co mmunity-manager-replacement/ Hello again from Nathalie. In Canada, we grew up with the expression that if March comes in like a lion, it goes out with a lamb and vice versa. My initial announce...

RE: Some respect to members, whether they work for Yuna or not
Good to see that the "Natalie" username has been reclaimed (as the original user hadn't been near it for years and years, or even ever posted) and now used for our Yuna rep :)

RE: Some respect to members, whether they work for Yuna or not
Don't forget: most great things start with absolute chaos... Ignoring the community or not respecting it is also bad business for Yuna. And they sure know that. However, how they handled the community so far is another matter. Because unfortunatly Y...

Hey Chromo, I understand what you're saying. Yuna Software's managers are tryign to do thigns right now, and I'm doing my best to guide them whenever they ask for my advice. What you or other people say to them is very important for one reason: I ...

RE: Some respect to members, whether they work for Yuna or not
I don't really understand why we need a "community manager" anyway? If Patchou updates everyone regularly and there's a decent changelog, what exactly is this person's purpose? Frankly I find the idea almost insulting. This is a mature communi...

RE: Some respect to members, whether they work for Yuna or not
It could also have the opposite effect though. If these "trolls" are just attention seeking, it might be better to not give them any attention. I suppose a (sort of) official message is a good idea, though I think it may be better coming from staf...
