RE: [help!] XML HTTP
Thank you, but I'm afraid it doesn't solve the problem. I still get the following error message in the debug console:
Error: Access is denied. (code: -2147024891) File: Stikkit Live!.js. Line: 24.
EDIT: APIKey is defined outsi...

[Help!] Browser Error pages
I am sure that this is a stupid question, but I can't for the life of me work out how to solve the problem. Basically, I have had Tiscali Broadband for a long time, and recently lots of "Page cannot be found"-like errors in both IE and FF2 have ch...

RE: Official Windows Live Messenger 8.5 Beta - Released!
I got accepted too! I'm not sure what the difference between the public and the Connect beta testing services are though, bar a few questionnaires. Even the download link on Connect was a link to the public one.

RE: Online Chat logger slows messenger greatly
Yes, apologies for that (I wrote the script). I have stopped development of the script, but my other script, Answer Phone, has almost all of those features and more. I do admit, the Online Chat Logger is rubbish, but Answer Phone has several options...

RE: [Help!] Startup Problems
Thanks for the link duck!. However, the registry entries mentioned in that forum are all present and correct in my registry. I don't think that this is the problem. Strangely, AVG AntiSpyware no longer reports any malware, yet the problem persists.

RE: [Help!] Startup Problems
I don't think that specific system files were mentioned, just names of malware. Some of these I remember: Smitfraud-C.Toolbar888, WinAntiVirusPro 2006, Virtumonde

RE: [Help!] Startup Problems
Thanks for your suggestions. However, I do have one or two problems: I don't have a full version of Windows on CD, just a restore disk, and System Restore won't work. I have already tried this with no success.I actually think that this problem is m...

[Help!] Startup Problems
Hi all! My computer has recently been gradually developing a problem at startup, and I wondered if anyone would be able to offer any help? When I (or any other users) log on, my wallpaper appears, but no taskbar, Start menu, icons etc. To get these t...

Thank you for your kind comments. Felu, I guess you are referring to the fact that messages from yourself are displayed in the logger. Unfortunately, I removed the feature or not doing this, because it was unreliable. the only way I could implement i...

Thanks for pointing out my script. I would like to suggest that my other script is much better at this (in my opinion) although it does use a slightly different organisational format for messages. The script is AnswerPhone FTP and it is in the offici...

RE: [REQUEST] Smaller Password
I believe that it may be possible to do this in a script, but it would be very insecure, as both the full and short password must be stored. Perhaps asking messenger to remember the password may be the better solution. Robert

RE: Was Isambard Kingdom Brunel the greatest Britain of the period 1750-1990?
Perhaps this is the period of time in which qualifying people must have lived? If you gave the exact dates of his birth and death then there wouldn't be many great people to include.
