RE: External Harddrive
[offtopic] USB Flash sticks have a limited number of READ/WRITE cycles and thus would not be suitable for running an OS off it. Unless you want a temporary computer :P This does not, however, include external hard drives, which probably all use USB, ...

RE: Need suggestion about buying a mp3 player
I myself own a Sandisk Sansa e250, which is quite good, plays photos, videos, music and FM radio. I uploaded an episode of something or other to it one day, when I found out it splits the video into separate parts about 10 minutes each. I think it's...

RE: itunes toolbar
Do you mean the iTunes Mini Player that uses up heaps of resources for some reason :P and sits in your taskbar? If so, i do believe with some resource hacking you CAN rip the WMP mini player's UI onto itunes. I'm not one of those extreme pople who ...

RE: Comupter wont boot [urgent]

RE: Computer Technical Hardware Noob Questions
you can buy a slocket if you are buying a socket cpu with a slot motherboard, although slot motherboards are outdated. I myself are using an ASUS A7V133 Socket A motherboard, which is pretty old, i think. :P

RE: My Hd is corrupted =/
your B:\ drive has a Vista hard drive icon, yet the letter B is reserved for floppy drives... for me anyway... I've had no experience whatsoever of using Vista, but if you can, find a way to boot from Vista to XP, then see if you can get in that wa...

RE: Odd Behavior From iTunes/System.
Maybe. Are you running it in the taskbar (the mini-player that appears near the systray)? iTunes tends to "use" a lot of resources when it's in minimode:( it's really quite annoying, my computer is fairly old but I've reconstituted it by a dusti...

RE: Antivirus software
I'd suggest Bazooka by Kephyr. It's quite good, scans REALLY REALLY FAST! Although, cant find much, just a load of adware, some worms and a handful of trojans. All the same, I use it on top of AVG Free, SpyBot S&D, Ad Aware, Windows Defender, MRT (...
