I have the latest versions of both Skype and Messenger Plus for Skype.I have windows 7.
No problems with video on Skype, but when i try to record video, It is saved and when i open it, all i get is a white screen and audio.
The preview only shows a white screen also.
Can someone fix this please......or at least admit there is a problem .I have noticed several others complaining of the same problem, and they have had no replies.

Sounds like a codec issue on your PC more than anything, i'm not sure which format Plus! records video in though.

Thanks for your reply, but i do have the latest version of both Plus and Skype and it does not work for me.

Try installing the latest http://cccp-project.net/ codec pack and see if that fixes your video playback. Alternatively you could try using a player that has its own codecs built in like GomPlayer or VLC.

I am not installing any codecs on my laptop. I have no problems with anything else at all, and i think it is a Skype problem.
I have another recording program which i will try.DVD video free recorder.
