Microsoft's new messenger, which claims 100 million active users, lets users customize their background and their own icons as well providing a way for users to swap pictures and other content more easily.
Some of those features are already available on competing services offered by Yahoo Inc. (Nasdaq:YHOO - news) and America Online Inc., a unit of AOL Time Warner Inc. (NYSE:AOL - news)

MSN Messenger 6 will work after thursday with Messenger Plus! 2 completely, not the leaked beta..! the beta who is coming out on thursday

But after the public preview is release, people can now legally have it...and hence I guess we'll have more posts asking for Plus! that is comptable with Messenger 6.0...:\
