Hello everyone!

this post is to inform you that Messenger 6 compatibility is almost finished, all seems to work nice so I'll use the next week to add some more new features and I'll probably release a public beta in the beginning of July.

In fact, I'm posting this message for another reason... I didn't felt like sleeping this evening so instead of going in my bed, I created a small techno song, to celebrate the success of the current development process . I must say that I'm pretty happy to see everything working in Messenger 6. A lot of other Messenger addons will probably never be updated but Plus! being one of the oldest, it's good to see it still survives .

Feel free to let me know what you think about it, I already know most of you will probably don't like it, it's quite a simple tune, I just wanted to make something "entertaining" (and anyway, I'm a developer, not a professional DJ ).

yeah nice music..   could have a little bit heavyr bass..  but it sounds good...    what programm did you use?? something like music maker 7 or so...   i will try a remix to.. because i'm a prof DJ

musicalmidget: Cakewalk Plasma and some VST filters.. n othign very fancy. I mostly used loops from my media library .

No we've got nothing to do with LnH MSN. IMHO that mod quite sux, but that's my opinion, the annoying features overdo the cool ones so i prefer not using it =)


For the Techno song - well, it isn't really techno, but okay - I like it, but it's too much of the same, you're definately missing some bass, Try using Fruityloops - that is if you don't have keyboards and stuff like that...

4MB Songs can Be trimmed down very easily.  I have whole songs that are like, 918kb, for like, 2-4 Minutes.  But patchou could of course just take a section of his song

Patchou : don't worry about what a few ppl may be saying... If they think they can do better then let them.. I don't know but i think i can speak for at least a million ppl when i say keep up the great worl and we are waiting on a version that works with Messenger 6

Indeed, it has been reported to do so, but i strongly suggest you upgrade...as there may be many bugs... and

No, it's a crap idea, to be quite honest - I love the song, but being greeted with a 4-minute song when I'm trying to concentrate would annoy me. Plus it slows down my computer.

2.02.23 does work with Messenger 6..I updated today and kept Plus and so far it works

It may fuck up your 6 and not all functions work

hey! what's up everybody? i'm new on this form . anyways, i have a suggestion for msplus. can you add a idler to it? there is an away msg you can put up yourself, so would please think about adding an idler for your name to go light when you are not active for how ever many minutes just like aol im messenger does. PLEASE think about this addon to the new plus.

yeah.... i mean if you are idle, then your name will become light/grey/dim. i think patchou should hoenstly try and think about adding that IF he can and if it's not a probelem.if it's to hard then i understand if he can't. the reason i think that and idler is good, is so your buddies that are on your contact list knows that you are really not there because you go idle for how ever many minutes of not using your keyboard, or mouse!

I read in a certain thread that Fraisie thinks Plus won't be released until next weekend.  It's worth the wait though.

Going thru sum serious withdrawl symptoms! I know i could easily use msn  messenger 5 and still have plus, but all this talk about plus! for msn 6,  especially from the man himself (very first post in this thread) is driving me crazy with anticipation! And its even going to have new stuff added! I cant fight it... losing control....

     I'm not sure how late I'm in the thread, but I'm waiting for the release to see if plus is ready for download. I look at "http://www.msgplus.net" virtuosly almost every day. Talk about anticipation!!, and If you are addicted, I bet you looked at every thread to see when MSN plus will be released to see when it will be out, like me.

     Anyways, I did not hear any music, but I think I am with Patchou, if his song was hardly downloaded from where he put it up for download, why is it liked so much now? But who knows? Everyone has different taste of sound.

     By the way, with the craze with MSN 6.0 individual customization, I wonder if I could make a suggestion for plus!, being a ardent msnplus user? And if anyone agrees or like the idea, let it be heard.

     I like the idea if msn plus! was a bit flexable to customise, too, like with the sound! I wonder if it could be made to add sound to it, for expression to go with emoticons that we make? Like for example, there is a new emoticon with a zipper on its mouth, I think, and it would be cool if we could upload a little zipping sound to it. It would be funny! I know that the command can be only heard on my computer, but we could pass files like we do with the new customise emoticons. Anyways, what do you all think?
