as promised, here is a pre-release of Messenger Plus! 2.20. If all goes well, that's the version you'll get with the final release next sunday. It doesn't generate a debug file or other debug diagnostics so it will run faster. I'm counting on all of you to install this version and to report anything bad before saturday! Note also that some languages are already distributed with this version.

to add your own text? just write the sound command and then your desired text...

eg: "/scomeon BRING IT ON BITCH" should display "BRING IT ON BITCH" with the come on sound

im was wondering if u could make an addon like plus! but without all the things it has, just the feature of creating and adding our own plug-ins to.

i was checking, and MsnPlus!.exe increments the usage of the RAM when u add more plug ins to. So it´ll be nice to have just a plug-in (without all the features it has) but with the capability to make our own plug-ins for it.

could u develope it? it´ll be great, to create a clone of Plus! starting of 0 (cero) JK

I have just installed this version, but when i start MSN only the email-adresses are being displayer, and not my custom names. And when I am in a conversation, I can't see the Plus! menu, and the commands don't work. In the main window of MSN there still is a Plus! menu and according to the preferences the are cusom names are enabled. Does anyone know why this is? Do I have to restart my computer or something like that?

I downloaded and installed this pre-release version of msn plus and am experiencing one problem.
Whenever I use the features like insert tags or send commands like sounds, my chat area gets all scrambled including, whatever I type and my friend types including both of our status names. She has downloaded this aswell but has not been having this scrambling as I have.

Another one I just found is that the sounds take long to sound out and my computer grinds as it tries to play the sound.

Does this version of MSN Plus work with MSN Messenger 6.0?

As for the plugins, things are added in the menu only when the plugins want to add stuff in the menu.

Can you add something to sign on to one or more accounts?  Hotmail/MSN accounts.  Can you please e-mail dMSN Messenger creator and get the smilies and add them to MSN Plus?  These are things that I hope to see in the next update for MSN Plus.

MSN Messenger says i have 117 new emails (using pop3)
I have 117 mails on the server.. but there not new.. I have just selectet in Outlook, that the mails should stay on the server....
Can't MSN set the 117 = 0, when i click the link to outlook in MSN..

.. and

When a new email is found, there doesn't popup a message that says "New email from ... received" like it does with Hotmail

I think there may be a bug with the email indicator at the top of the main screen.  It doesn't seem to show that i have new email's.

This is to let you know that "Plus!" is an integral part of my life. For 15 months now I have been teaching English online to the Japanese and I NEEEEEED your application probably more than anyone else. And my students do...

I'm busy setting up my own online school and of course I'm busy to get a good looking website in Japanese and English. Messenger Plus will have a whole (long) page there where I will explain beginners where and how "Plus!" can be downloaded and what's it all about. The website, once it is ready and uploaded will be accessible at www.eigo-online.com.

This brings me to an important question: When will the JAPANESE version be available? I hope you can make it within the next 30 days as we will set up the Japanese part of my site next month.

uhm i just downloaded the pre release and as usual its GREAT ..... really its awesome but i have 1 question: im just so freaking curious where these sounds come from? (bye, come on, right) the others are quite easy i just cant figure those ones out...... anybody who can?

Hey patchuo i noe im abit lame. but is it possible that u can add a few ticks in the preference option that allows you to do this.

- Multi MSN (Polygamy) <- this might be abit hard due to version release size.
- Disable the 'User is Typing' message from showing
- Appear Offline automatically on signing in

i know u alreadi have ad remover but if u can, can u add the options with this in it?
but if u cant then its all koolz.

it's a skin for the msn, it's not an add-on, you have to replace you .exe for that one or install it as a second messenger

I like the 'User is Typing' message thingy... why those patchs remove it ?

u got me rong.. im just saying that if patchou can put the OPTIONS in  the PREFERENCE menu where pple can turn it on and off.. not patch the whole thing..
like the on and off buttons.. int he preference setting not to patch the whole msn..
