Attached is an old polygamy patch which works with MSN Messenger 6.0.0503 AND MSN Messenger 6.0.0602. This patch is made by Asdfuae. I have tested it and it works 100%

what does it do?

polygamy = for being online at multiple accounts with the same msn version just install it (by hand like it says) and then click 2 on the msn messenger icon. It will open 2 msn messenger's

Well, MSN Messenger 6 has a repair option, if you try and uninstall MSN Messenger 6, choose repair and your MSN will no longer have polygamy on it.

Another way is to: Take the backup that is automatically made, and change it from "msnmsgr.bak" to "msnmsgr.exe" after deleting your current one. It should be fine and please ignore the quotation marks when looking for the name.

Ok I have version 6.0.0602 and i tried this patch but some reason its says there is no such file. Im confused I hada a polygamy patch b4 hand from mess.be and now i cant use this and i would like to. PLEASE HELP!! thanx!

umm.. the patch is quite straighforward...self-explanatory, run it, it'll ask if you wanna find the right .exe to patch. Find msnmsgr.exe (your MSN Messenger 6) and it will patch it...

I cant find any .exe files. i ahve searched my whole computer and nothing shows up..

its usually in: c:\program files\msn messenger\

there is a file msmsg.exe but everytime i try to use that it says here is an error that something else is using that file

Did you exit Messenger before trying to patch it?

yes. I always exit it out from the tray b4 i try to apply any patches

odd the file should be called msnmsgr.exe not msnmsgs.exe

No problem all, I'm not sure if you want it, but there is an .exe version which runs an installer and installs the patch for you, I'm not too sure if it patches msn or just extracts the files (never used it, thanks to winzip/winrar). If you want it, i'll post the url.

MSN Messenger 6.0.0602 was released on 16th(or 17th)of this month...so you can find that easily at msn home I think.....

Um k..about the polygamy patch...(i duno if this was already asked sorry if it was i didnt read the whole thread) um..k i unzipped it and all..then went into the folder and stuff like that..but when i click "apply patch" it says
"File not found. Do you want to manually select the correct file" so i do that and then it says...
" File not found or connot open file: C:\unzipped/msnpolygamy5[1]/msn_messenger_polygamy_5.exe The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process"

click Patch

it tells you to find the right process

go to C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger\

double click/choose msnmsgr.exe

and it should be patched

My MSN Messenger is 6.0.0628 and I CAN´T FIND the Polygamy Patch for it 0628,, believe me I´ve search every where, I´ve down loaded the Polygamy patch 0602 but it doesn´t work for it. Can some one help me?

Have you downloaded the one in this topic? it works with all MSN Messenger 6 versions and under.

when i download it, and open up the patch and click "apply patch" it says "0 out of 4 patterns replaced at least once.  This patch will not work"

i uninstalled my msn 6 and downloaded it again.  Then i downloaded the patch, and it said that 1 out of 4 patterns replaced at least once. This patch may work.

I heard that all you gotta do is double click on the msn icon and another one opens....is that true??

PAIN (back in the MSN 3.x days), but I guess my "Simultaneous Sessions" denomination didn't sound as catchy back then as polygamy
