yeah its called Crytalised.. but i think BooGhosts one would sound better since it makes more sence. The other one is just smooth and slick.. were as BooGhosts is transparent. Then again there is a difference with Crystal and Crystalised.

but these [Image: 2.png] bits on the edges there, they can be smothed off if booghost wants them to be.

btw i found out the problem...

the thing is that most of the other skin uses as name "msnmsgr.exe" (wich is the default name) this one doesn't because i don't know why msgplus won't hook with it (any MSN Messenger) unless it's located on the default MSN Messenger folder.
this make me have to change it's name to something diferent from "msnmsgr.exe"....
sounds won't work on the messenger if its name is different from "msnmsgr.exe" :-/

wich makes me have no idea what to do....

if in your computer pluys! hooks to the skin nomather where it is placed, just rename "ClearMSN.exe" to "msnmsgr.exe" and sound will be fixed

if not, i don't know what i'll doo

not sure if this has been mentiond but what colors are the other parts (like the origonal has pink blue orange and black or sumthing.) maybe you can tint the skin for other modes or make it like 100% opacity 75% 50% and 25% just an idea.. i dont use 6.1 so i cant test it

Hey, at first i didnt download it, now that i did im happy wonderful work booghost and you know whats funny you didnt skin anything in the convo window except make a few things transparent and changed some of the send files and invite people images and it looks so great , good work![edit] i havent had it long and i just noticed most of the images are diffrent lol, im a bit blind and without my glasses im scrwed, sorry, good work![/edit]

No, it's illegal but doesn't do any harm to them. In fact, they get nice publicity with skins like this one (btw great job booghost).

I didn't download it yet, but from what I see from the screenshots it looks great, very clean and nice (GlassMSN would do too

). The only think I don't like are the icons you use in the convo toolbar, i prefer the originals much more, but well -- the rest is very nice (Y)

I've update it, so sounds will now be working for the ClearMSN without having to change the name to "msnmsgr.exe". so KB you can rename it back to ClearMSN.exe if you want
by default it will be using the sounds included on the original MSN Messenger....

note that I'm not including any sound

Hi, i already like the looks of clear msn, but can't get to work on my msn though, why is that? It gives me errors like you'll see in the picture.

nar, plus makes the whole window semi transperant.. with this skin, only the main lay out files have been made transperant and the icons r different too, but they ant see through, also the border around the IM window isnt transperant at all.. and the background in the IM window isnt transperant. so, no its not the same as what plus can do. this makes different things semi transperant so that ya can see the background of the IM window, through the other things

i log and encrypt my chats using clearmsn, but i disable msn messenger to log my chats
i also use the costum names for clearmsn, but not for msn messenger

those are the differences of my two messengers

lol i get it now...... those prefferences are Plus! prefferences..... and they depend on the account, not the messenger

you must have 2 accounts, you log on ClearMSN with account 1 and in MSN Messenger with account 2.... but if you did vice versa the accounts will keep their prefferences

so they will not get erased by updating ClearMSN

i'm not sure, i think FuturisticMSN doesn't have the Polygamy Patch on it :-/

but what you can do is open in first place the one with no Polygamy (in this case Futuristic MSN) and then open as many Polygamy Patched Messenger as you like (mine are polygamy patched that's why you can open it more than once

ok ppl... I'm planning to do/fix something with ClearMSN so... i will not post a link till I finnish it, it's not REALLY important but i'd like to do it...

so please do not post asking for the link

I'm lazy i know, i give up easyly with projects not working... (like ProjectMSN wich is now something like HalfProjectMSN ) so maybe you'll have to wait for something like a week
