I've just made a Tweak for the current version of Plus! (2.21.55). It supports all the settings listed at http://www.msgplus.net/?view=help_registry. I'll update it if Patchou adds new registry settings in furute versions of Plus!

About Plus! 2.21.56: I didn't know that there was that version. When I finish posting this, I'll update the file at the first post with support for .56.

Safe and uninstalable: Yes, it's safe and doesn't require installation. It's just an only exe.

MSN messed up: No, msn no; but Plus! may act strange if you modify some settings. Read this:

i searched for comctl32.ocx and downloaded it on micro soft and a black screen came up and went away but it still dosent work please tell me how to get it to work

RUNTIME ERROR!

I just did it again and it says i allready have it but when i run the tweak it still says that i do no have comctl32.ocx
please help

About comctl32.ocx: Where do you put that file? It should be in the same folder as the program or in your system folder (usually c:\windows\system or c:\windows\system32) And the black screen, can you make a screenshot? Btw, you can donload that file (and two more) here: MPTF.exe (894 Kb). It's a self-extracting RAR compressed file which I uploaded for other program I made (read more)

About runtime error: Can you describe which and when do you get that error? Tell me how to reproduce the error.

i got a runtime error 372 "failed to control slider version of the thing u told me to get may be out of date" but i got it from microsoft so how could it be? also the site u gave a link to dosent work

Sorry, the link is correct but it seems like the server where the file is (the one of the my university) has sometimes problems with the files to be downloaded.

I downloaded MsgPlusTweak.exe then it said i need comctl32.ocx, so i used the one Chode posted, then put it in the same dir as the .exe and that msg box came up..

If it helps (maybe, maybe not) i got:

Windows Version: Windows XP Professional, 5.01.2600

Chode's comctl32.ocx seems to be a bit old. Try this one. This file is the one that I have.

BTW, why can't I upload .rar files? MyBBB says that kind of file isn't allowed and I have to remove or change the attachment
