MSN Messenger 6.1 Release Date!

It doesn't look like any new features are going to be added from the beta. Oh well, it's nice to see a final is on the way.

yeah..  but thats mainly because they test most, if not all of their features in the beta version.  But keep your eyes open.. you never know, might be a few suprises

mabey they will put tabs to how they used to be and just put it like this for now so they know we would try hard to get it to work and right when we get it figured out the offical will come out and its back on out hd. just a thoguth tho lol prolly wont happen but like sk3tch said ya never know might be a few surprises.

not all those features on the site are new...
most were in 6.0

yeah... but then again, 6.0 hasnt been out that long.

Worth the wait? Why, are they adding some fabulously great new feature that we couldn't live without or something?
I mean, think about it, you already have it, or at least, you already have what's worth having of it, like the custom colours and stuff...

Hey if we wait for 6.0 about 3 to 4 months why dont wait 1 for 6.1?

Who says theres no bugs or faults in final versions?

I never said there wouldnt be, what im saying is if there are bugs in the beta then they should be resolved in the finnal And im sure no matter what there will always be some sort of bug.

lol....  ok Kushan.. some people might agree with you.. but the fact is its not a real released MSN.. there are always bugs and fualts, and to be 100% we shouldnt 'really' have the beta edition. Anyway as soon as the final release is out.. anyone with a beta version will be notified of an update..  im sure you will not update then   and yes its not really a wait as such while we have the pre-release..  but sometimes its just good to have the real thing

And yeah i agree.. but there could be bugs that you wont be able to find or even come across that could effect the use of it. But fare enough, its not really a big deal but some people just prefere to have the real thing

Wonder if the new 6.1 is getting a feature added at the last minute that stops you from accessing the chat rooms through Messenger, like I do.

They will probably shut down the servers for the chatrooms so you cant access them anyway

well they didn'tannounced anything new yet

They will leave the thingy in MSN Messenger to go to chat rooms, I would think. It's only user made rooms shuting down, right? If so then they'd still have it there so you can visit the MSN made rooms, and users rooms who've paid to make them.
