I just installed this latest beta and my sounds disappeared! Anyone else have this problem?

the background is different now. i don't know if anyone else noticed

Yup, happenned wiht me twice. 6.1 Beta's installer doesn't include the sounds (most likely they aren't that far into the testing yet, or thy just don't want 'em).

They're all in this zip file, if you want 'em back, just copy them to your MSN Messenger folder

Just checked...they don't work...and I doubt the skin makers will bother updating their skins till the official 6.1 release comes...seeing as it isn't that long away...so I'll just stick with 0114...seeing as there isn't any difference anyway...

Here's a patch to remove the beta and ads, for the newer version, 6.1.128. (msn6.1.128.patch.tHe_cLeanER.zip)

Well just now I'm using the Matrix skin...goes with my current windows theme...but I'd be willing to switch back to Penguin MSN (which I've used for a lot longer) if it was made for the latest MSN...

I can wait for MSN 6.1 on 14 october and 23 october 2003..

Will there be an updated Jnrzlaoder for 6.1.0128? That was my favorite, I was able to log in offline! I sure hope he updates it for us! :D

Ok its official guys... I've updated all my skins - Penguin MSN, Neowin Messenger, Urban MSN, and MSN Messed Edition - to the 6.1.0128! get them from here. Enjoy! :D

grrr lousy ms ... the only reason they did this is to fuck all of us skinmakers up .... and then they will get all of us to port our skins over to 028 and then when it comes out officially they will probably change it again!
