I know many people use Winamp to play music files... since MsgPlus! gives support to it (!WAT), why not get something back from it?
Music can generate sound data that can be used to create beautiful visualizations... Winamp does it with his AVS Editor, and I wanted to try it. While these are very simple compared to what can be done, they're my contribution to the MsgPlus! Community, I hope you enjoy them

Installation Instructions (also included in the zip file):
For Winamp 2.x
1. Extract files to [winampfolder]\Plugins\avs (normally it would be c:\program files\winamp\Plugins\avs)
2. After running Winamp, right click on the winamp window (you can also press Ctrl+Shift+K and jump to step 4)
3. Point to Visualization, then click on "Start/Stop plug-in"
4. Double click on the visualization window. The "Winamp AVS Editor" Opens.
5. Click on Settings, then on Presets/Hotkeys. There's a button under "Preset (sub) directory to use for random/cycle:", press it and choose "MsgPlus!"
5a. You can configure random settings for the visualizations there.
6. Close the AVS Editor and give a treat to your eyes!
For Winamp 3.x
1. Extract files to [winamp3folder]\Wacs\data\avs (normally it would be c:\program files\winamp3\Wacs\data\avs)
2. After running Winamp, right click on the winamp window (you can also click on the AVS Icon on the thinger and jump to step 4)
3. Point to "Windows" then click on Visualization Studio.
4... Follow same steps as Winamp 2.x

They look nice but i also will never use them because i just have never winamp open in screen mode only in the system tray. and find it irritating ......

Thanks everyone for your feedback, Booghost, I don't even have a clue on how to make them for WMP , Patchou, of course I'll let you put them on your site, thanks for offering... I would really appreciate a bigger version of the logo and if I could get an editable file would be better, I use Corel Draw 8.0, a bit old, but works
I agree on other opinions, AVS's can be a bit annoying when doing lots of taks, but for me, it makes a live screensaver while doing other stuff out of the computer, and I put the window on the side when surfing...
I'm gonna keep updating my first post, so check back regularly

Do they, by any chance, move with the song? like if there is a "big noise" (to put it simply) then the lightning type thing flashes, or what?
If not, that would make them alot better

"Audio Visualization" Darn right, the music has much to do with the visuals, here I explain how music affects the visuals:
LiquiFlash: The black bouncing scope is generated by the music and the flash comes from every beat.
PlusShock!: The bolt is generated by the music frequency, only three frames appear on every beat and at the same time the logo flashes and makes a zoom with Blend and Bilinear filters. This one was made on, and for kick bass hardcore!!
PlusRox0rz!: The fire at the botton is a thin scope, the bolts are from music frequency too and appear at every beat. The big burning banner appears every four music beats with four random messages.

actually... wmp's plugins are much more difficult than wmp skins, for the simple reason that involves complex programming. The same happens with Winamp Plugins, which this is not the case. This is an AVS preset for the AVS Winamp Plugin, made with Winamp's AVS editor, which while needs some skills too, is far simpler than WMP and Winamp's SDK.
