Finally... althought its not on the news of any site yet, I found this guy on the neowin forums who supplied a link. MSN Messenger 6.1 Build 6.1.0115...

Actually, it says it was released on the 20th, three days early. 
BTW, in the second link you can get Messenger in tons of languages other than English. Just thought I should mention it.
Hmm, I wonder if they fixed the crash bug in the Hebrew version.... *downlods to check*

Hold on, I downloaded a beta yesterday with build number Build 6.1.0150 yet you say that Build 6.1.0115 is the final. How? This is 35 build numbers behind the one I have!

What are the differences in 6.1 apart from the click on webcam button and being able to change the background colour and the title bar remove thingy?

hmmmm now i know M$ often lets down with upgrades but damn this version would have to be one of the largest let downs yet ... only thing is the few things mentioned and it seems to run a bit smother.

But there isn't a different version now for windows xp / nt+2000 / 95+98. They probably putted them all together in one setup file (cuz the install is almost 8 mb)

This is not the final.. At http://messenger.msn.com you still see '6.0' and if it WAS the final it said '6.1'
