why do we only have one mod, and this mod doesnt actually do anything any way
bit pointless if you ask me? maby some elites or old members should have this type of role?

Because there's no point in assigning moderators to individual forums. That kind of thing is only really to help logistics when there's too much moderator work to do for mods and the work has to be divided up so mods know where to look first. Even at boards this size, mods don't have to do so much for that to be necessary, especially because mods online at the same time is quite a rare thing

We don't even have that mod. That moderator is WDZ's "adorable" lizard. No mods are needed, coz current super mods (at least chrono, jmac, fraisie and muss) are doing their great job
If an individual mod is assigned to only one or two forums, his/her limited permissions are actually hindering him/her from doing the job.

The point of having Mods would be if there were forums dedicated to very specific topics, in that case, some person with high knowledge of that matter could be a moderator. However, at the messenger plus forums, there isn't any forum where a special person is needed to moderate it, so global mods (aka super moderators) are the best option.
