Btw, it you'r going to do a export feature, it should be preserving fonts, colors, avatars, images, etc... like html or pdf (with php you can make pdf, right?)

id use, it my 6 pms have to go somewhere, also maybe u shud intergrate a POP3 e-mail checker into it. that would be cool, then there would be a use for the exporter

I'd use an export feature.
I believe vBulletion has an export feature to XML, CSV and TXT.
HTML would be the nicest, I think.

I think I'll do it in HTML and parse the smilies/bbcode in the actual message, but I'm not going to include avatars/sigs in the export. This is just for backing up the private messages. If you want to look at avatars, you can click the usernames to view profiles.

Actually, for all we know, RC2 could be ready very soon...but it will just take WDZ a long time to upgrade. :refuck:

If you guys read on http://surfichris.hosted.tv/?postid=13 you would have noticed RC2 is pending for release this week.

My export feature would contain everything you needed..
- Mass export / Single pm export
- Export as HTML/CSV/TXT.
- Delete messages after exporting
- Export messages from certain folders
- Export PM's older than a certain number of days
- Export unread/read options.
