alot of you have the same system stats...

maybe slightly off topic... but what do you use to encode the files to BMP, PNG, etc... an existing library, or did you write your own?

i use the FreeImage DLL, which uses GDI.

I'm looking forward to being able to copy the screenshot to clipboard...but being able to preview before sending it seems to be the best new feature... (a bit off topic) I know there's no way to know now but do you think SS3 will be compatible with Messenger Plus! 3? Like in Messenger Plus 2 nCCNotify = &H9 and in 2.5 it's &H12...so I'm thinking there'll be more code changes in Messenger Plus! 3...

well the copy to clipboard is working fine, but i'm having some problems with the preview feature at the moment.

And i don't use the Recieve notify, so that shouldn't effetc future compatability of the plugin.

I now just thought hey why would I need a screenshot copyed to clipboard when I can just hit Print Screen...

Oh yeah...On that note it'd be cool being able to send any image on your clipboard to a contact

And maybe we cant be assed to edit away half the image if we want "Active window" in clipboard

That's a plugin I'll definitively install. Well done! Be sure you send the plugin to Fraisie so that she can add it to the official database (the email is on the plugin db page, in the left margin).

We'll let me explain myself...

I just put the 2 *.dll files into the plugin directory... and did the reg file... so the reg stuff was added in the registry...

but now i dont see any screenshot sender plugin in the plugin menu...

Maybe its because i installed it wrong... or maybe it because i dont know how it works...

Only plugin I got at the moment is the handwriting...

Hi, i just tried to install Screeshot SenderVer 2 and 3, both fails.
After running regsvr32 i see an errormessasge:

LoadLibrary("C:\....ss.Dll) failed. GetLastError returns 0x000000485.

My System: Win98SE, Amd XP2400, 512 RAM.

Any idea what can be wrong?

Sorry, but  i have written the full path in quotes. 
I only forgot to type them in here in the listed errormessage before.

I  have downloaded mesenger plus yesterday the first time, it works fine and now i want to install my first plugin-ins to messanger plus and this fails.
Maybe i need some special files or settings for general working of the plugins?

I forgot to tell i connect via RASPPPOE and DSL to the internetand use Messenger 6.1,  maybe this info is needet for troubleshooting.

Anybody some more ideas ?

You'r doing something wrong with the filename (that's what the error says at least). The type of connection you're using or what program you're using doesn't matter. You need to register that DLL first. The only thing that could help is to have the full exact error message you're getting.

It all seems to work great for me. Except the specified area like you said, but hey selected area is way better then that .

I also like the preview and copy to clipboard features, great work. About the only plugin that i really use to be honest .

on the plugin database there is still version 2

SS3 Public Beta 2 should be ready very soon, then not long after that will be the final release.

Yea, there is an installer, but when i released the Beta i hadn't quite finished it.
