Personally, I don't like the position of the message after we post reply/new thread.
I prefer the old one :p.

Is that a bug?

You mean not being centered? I know about that, and I tried to fix it, but I didn't have much luck. I'll give it another try later, unless some HTML expert wants to try? :P

edit: wow i may work on this for a while.. dreamweaver picks it up right but firefox and ie both mess up.

The table is at the very top of the window for me... I'm starting to think this is an Opera bug... maybe I should upgrade... :p

In my IE6 it's centered properly.

*-)
I don't know, but it doesn't work with my IE6 and my Avant.
And I have updated my IE.

When I wrote the thread, I was using IE at my school.

Version of IE (@ home): 6.0.2600

:dodgy: @ browsers that I am using.
RE: The message after posting by WDZ on 03-11-2004 at 11:59 PM

The W3C validator tells me "there is no attribute 'height'" for <table> elements... that could explain why Opera doesn't center it. :o

RE: The message after posting by WDZ on 03-12-2004 at 12:14 AM

Hmm... now this is interesting... take Choli's HTML and put

code:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
in front of it. The table will no longer be centered!!!

Is IE more standards-compliant than I think? :P
RE: The message after posting by lizard.boy on 03-12-2004 at 12:16 AM

its more than i think than too :undecided:

RE: The message after posting by WDZ on 03-12-2004 at 12:20 AM

OK, I disabled the doctype thing for the redirect page, and the alignment problem seems to be fixed... :-/

RE: The message after posting by bach_m on 03-12-2004 at 12:27 AM

i believe that IE is standards compliant if u give it a doctype

edit: crap, i missed it:P

edit 2: looking good on firefox. good job DZ!

Hmm... oh well... I don't feel like removing the height attribute and positioning the table with CSS, so I'll leave the doctype out for now. :p
