Bug Reports (/forumdisplay.php?fid=7) +----- Thread: small bug (/showthread.php?tid=23073) small bug by theonedragon on 03-26-2004 at 01:18 PM i've noticed a possible bug that i've only seen happen a few times... i have messenger plus notification enable to notify of any status change for contacts... every once in awhile when a contact signs on plus will pop up toast and say that the user has changed their status to online instead of saying they have just signed in... i checked this with friend of mine had them block and unblock me go to offline then online and sign out then back in and it said what it was suppose to say that contact just signed in... so seems to only happen every once in awhile... im using current version of MSN Messenger and of Plus on Windows XP home edition SP1... RE: small bug by theonedragon on 03-27-2004 at 04:15 AM ive been trying it with different programs running and nothing as of yet, it just seems to be random... since installing Plus 2.54.74 when it first came out ive seen it happen maybe a total of 8 times... I also have msn messenger notifications enabled when contacts sign on so after messenger pops up contact has signed on that maybe Plus then shows that they changed status to online ... ill try disabling msn messenger notifications and see if it happens anymore. RE: small bug by Chrono on 03-27-2004 at 05:36 AM it has happened to me too, but i havent found out why yet... RE: small bug by Patchou on 03-27-2004 at 09:26 AM This should be fixed in Plus!3, I remember playing in that part of the code some weeks ago. If Mr Chromo remember to check this out in the beta, I would be greateful . |
