Plus! may be redistributed and placed on download sites and freeware CD's, so why not in such packages... goog promotion .
But it should be Messenger Plus!, not MSN.

Yeah I told them already as well. Maybe they just forget to update it, or don't see it as a big deal. Maybe I'll just email FlishFun and set the man straight

well they shud. MSN Plus is copywrite of Microsoft
RE: Did Patchou approve this? by Kryptonate on 04-14-2004 at 02:04 PM
microsoft hasn't got anything called MSN Plus . MSN is theirs but Plus isn't.
RE: Did Patchou approve this? by Menthix on 04-14-2004 at 02:16 PM
Yes they do. It isn't software, but a webservice form Microsoft:
http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/newsroom/msn/f...heet/MSNPlusFS.asp
When people call "Messenger Plus!" "MSN Plus" all the time it will get confusing. Like people asking for support here when they should be at Microsoft, and the other way arround.

Me and this webpage beg to differ http://join.msn.com/?page=byoa/home&pgmarket=en-g...9&HL=upsell_button

Yep, some people still don't seem to realize that Messenger Plus! is an add-on for MSN Messenger and NOT the Microsoft Network.

246MB thats a bit on the hefty side. Take me about three days to download.
Adding Plus! to it is a great idea although i imagine the files are just inserted so the sponsor wont be available

But of a shame, unless it runs the install as scilent with the sponsor slash. Maybe its without it though

Its well worth the download, especially if like me, you are often called upon to help fix peoples computers. Its an essential tool in my armament Also, there are Lite and UltraLite versions available (192Mb and 78.8Mb respectively )

It installs Plus using the /SilentInstallNoSponsor switch so everyone can use it without fear They don't want any adware/sponsorware/spyware in AutoPatcher
