Hi, I'm using Windows XP, Msn Messenger 6.1.0211 (NOT Windows Messenger) and the latest MsgPlus version. I use either UltraMon or Ati's Hydravision to remember the position of certain windows so when I open Outlook for example it appears on my second monitor. The problem is that Msn Messenger insists on opening only in my primary monitor. I can drag it across just fine, but it won't remember being there and appears back where it started when it's reopened, no matter what I do with the docking options etc. I uninstalled MsgPlus and it remembered it's position on the secondary monitor just fine so I guess the problem is there. It works aleight when you un-install Plus! RE: Dual Display by TygerTyger on 04-23-2004 at 01:48 PM Yeah i have a Mobile Radeon 9200. Actually it did exactly the same even before the Hydravision or UltraMon software so I don't think it's a software conflict, unless it's just with the drivers somehow. RE: Dual Display by CookieRevised on 04-23-2004 at 04:26 PM I thought this was reported long ago... Anyways, confirmed (also with Plus!3) with nVidea GeForce4 Ti 4200... RE: Dual Display by TygerTyger on 04-23-2004 at 04:34 PM Oh sorry I did have a look to see if I was doubling up on posts. Anyways reported long ago it may have been, fixed apparantly it was not. RE: Dual Display by Patchou on 04-23-2004 at 05:22 PM Can one of you send me an email at mplus@patchou.com about it? I'll check it out RE: Dual Display by Menthix on 04-23-2004 at 05:49 PM Will do that tomorrow, TygerTyger send a report too if you want. Diffrent people send problems is diffrent ways, which makes a better change for a fix. |
