I tryed runin it in XP compatiblity mode and it didn't help. Just curious. RE: Messenger Plus! 2 in Longhorn by musicalmidget on 04-26-2004 at 11:31 PM I haven't heard of anyone running it in Longhorn, but I don't suppose it's not possible when you bare in mind that it has only been created for Windows versions upto XP. Longhorn is Alpha Software from Microsoft. It has not been supplied to the official testers of Messenger Plus! 3, nor was it supplied to the testers of Messenger Plus! 2, therefore it may not work as it should. RE: Messenger Plus! 2 in Longhorn by bnevets27 on 04-27-2004 at 01:20 AM well if u want to get a hold of a copy i can let u know as i went threw it all 2 get it and set it up, its stable 2 me i have np's with it and i'm ruin it on its minium specs, 700mhz, 256mb ram, it uses alot of ram and if u have a decent to good comp i'm sure u would enjoy it, dunno about as a primary OS, just b/c not all programs have been tested with it RE: Messenger Plus! 2 in Longhorn by Dane on 04-27-2004 at 01:35 AM LOL, im on 56k for one. And for two, Im not sure Patchou wants testing on it, however if Patchou did I would use it. I have a pretty good system. RE: Messenger Plus! 2 in Longhorn by weirdal27 on 04-27-2004 at 01:37 AM

LH is running well for me, my comp is kinda slow so ofcourse it runs abit slow but if u have a good comp i'm sure it wold b a blast, it has alot of nice graphical stuff, dunno how 2 explain it but yeah its nicely layed out RE: RE: Messenger Plus! 2 in Longhorn by Guido on 04-27-2004 at 03:04 AM
The screenshot I posted is not mine, I think it was posted here or in IRC some months ago. It's an older version of Longhorn with an older skin. quote:Err.. what does that have to do with anything Plus won't work with LH just because Microsoft supplies the pre-alphas to the testers.+ RE: Messenger Plus! 2 in Longhorn by Concord Dawn on 04-27-2004 at 03:07 AM Does anyone know the e-mail to become a Microsoft tester? RE: Messenger Plus! 2 in Longhorn by bnevets27 on 04-27-2004 at 03:39 AM

quote:I don't think they have an email for that sort of thing. You have to work there or something of that sort (like Reisyboy said). If they just had some email address you sent in to get it, there would alot more beta leaks right now. Plus I would have longhorn right now too if thats what they did.
