Nice... RE: Windows Longhorn... by webi on 05-22-2004 at 11:48 PM Interesting, the system for the communication, the "indigo" was developed at first for the Windows XP but not used at all. I don't know why but i'm so exited to see the result of the new design and if the avalon system is stable. wait and see ! RE: Windows Longhorn... by bach_m on 05-22-2004 at 11:50 PM
Longohorn, if it stays at what is planned, is supposed to be amazing. its been said to be like the move from Win3.1 to Win95. RE: Windows Longhorn... by lopardo on 05-23-2004 at 12:06 AM On one side I'm afraid all I know now will be useless... RE: Windows Longhorn... by renkoh on 05-23-2004 at 12:22 PM I've heard that the release of longhorn will now be delayed. Also, i think its system requiements are significantly higher than windows XP. The current Betas (build 4074) require 128mb ram minimum, double over windows xp's 64mb ram mimimum RE: Windows Longhorn... by Kryptonate on 05-23-2004 at 12:36 PM

quote: thats the minimum winXP will install on. with 64mb of RAM, windows XP will barely be useable. most tech gurus recomend 256 for widowns XP RE: Windows Longhorn... by Stigmata on 05-23-2004 at 01:32 PM
