Admin But Still Getting Error by Dev on 05-25-2004 at 01:08 AM
When trying to install, I get this error

I am administrator, I tried the other suggested in: http://shoutbox.menthix.net/showthread.php?tid=25877
I tried to install in safe mode, downloaded the program twice... errr
I have:
Windows XP SP1a Professional

i thought Patchou has correcting this issue...? so that any user may install Plus! 3? hmm guess not. but you sure your the administrator on your PC?
click Control Panel > Users
and check for a hidden Administrator

Theres only 2 accounts on my users thingy.
Dev and Guest
And I always used Dev so Dev has to be the Administrator,no?

If you use 'Dev' he must be set as the Administrator.
if you need help to over-ride being an Administrator, Restart your PC, and keep pressing F8 until you get the "Safe Mode" set up screen.
use Safe Mode and go to Control Panel > User Accounts, and you can over-ride any administration privileges and make yourself an Administrator.

Oki to all those who have that problem. I found a solution... Not sure though.
1) Restart the computer, Go to Safe Mode using the F8 Key.
2) In Safe Mode go to Control Panel and reset your user password.
3) While In Safe Mode, Install MsgPlus3.
4) Restart into Normal Mode and It should be working fine.
