I just got DivX Player version 2.5.3 and I noticed that it came along with GAIN Software that is supposed to bring pop-ups. I got it before with some other program (can't remember right now
). Except that I can't remove the GAINware. So how can I keep DivX without GAIN? It said that GAIN will be automatically self delete itself off the system and stop delivering pop-ups once the software that GAIN came along with is uninstalled.
Please help me

find the directory that gain is saved to and delete it thats what i did

nvm i fixed the problem already, i just adaware to get rid of it
for some reason it did not find it at first, only after rebboting.

it came with GAIN because you got the free version of DivX Pro, if you get DivX Standard its Adware free, http://www.divx.com/divx/player/index.php
