I'm not really sure wat your saying, do you mean that you want your forum to be your homepage or you want a link to the forum on you homepage, cause if your not more clear, i'm afraid it'll be hard for us too help you here... sorry

For Invision Board there are a lot of mods to do that kinda stuff.

Yuck, flat text files. They're gonna get corrupted after about 10 minutes.
You should try using a MySQL based news script. Try wordpress or, if you have to, php nuke.
