at home I use WinXP Pro, but I also have SuSE Linux 8 installed. At the uni, Win2000 and Red Hat and Fedora Linuxes.

Fedora Core 2 (I've checked this as Red Hat in the poll, as it is really just Red Hat 10)

Additional: When I installed Fedora, it stopped me booting into Windows. However, problem solved quite easily. If anyone else has had this problem, I have the solution.

On one laptop, Windows ME and on another one Windows 95 .

I use (for various purposes, on 2 different PC's with a total of 3 Hard-Drives) Windows XP Home & Professional, Microsoft Windows Codename Longhorn, Windows Server 2000 and 2003, Mandrake Linux, and OCCASIONALLY, on computers that I don't own, MAC OS.

win 2k and 98
2k is by far the best, it's the most stable one, because xp likes to crash because of all those fancy themes. and 98 is because i don't have the choice =/

You can freely get SP2 beta

it's better to wait till the final release of SP2 in June or July as SP2 is still in beta-phase.

Why is Mandrake, RedHat, Debian, Lindows set apart and the last choice also includes Linux :-/

. If you make a seperation between a few Linux distributions and the others you should add them all or only "Linux".

I personally use Windows XP Pro SP1 with a crap load of tweaks. My dad uses Windows XP Home SP1 with like no tweaks at all. My mom uses Windows 98 and 2000 for shcool work (She is an Assistant Principal) and for playing Dr.Mario and Tetris ROMS (Total Addict)

My old computer is running Windows 95 (as in 1995).

On my new computer, i'm running Windows XP.

And my PlayStation 2 is running Kondara Linux (PS2Linux).

well I think he means the rest of distros of linux

he can't add the hundreds and hundreds of them (suse, red hat, debian, mandrake, mulinux, fedora, polinux, lindows, knnopix, and a long etc....

I use Mac OS X 10.3.4 and Windows XP Pro SP1. I wouldn't be using the PC, but seeing as I don't have a regular job, I'm stuck on it 'til I raise enough money.

you can get it when you're a beta tester for Microsoft or a developer, that's the only legal way. We don't discuss other ways of getting it on these forums.

For people who are waiting for the final version of Windows XP SP2, it will propably be delayed till September 2004. You can however download it at microsoft.com but this is still in beta phase and not recommended.

while i have no problem with Mac OSX, (and kinda love it from afar), theres no ppoint trying to convince everyone to try it. most ppl can't afford to buy the new hardware, nor do they want to make the "Switch"
