c:/Windows/regedit.exe RE: Association of .reg Files by Concord Dawn on 05-31-2004 at 01:01 AM Thanks. It's really annoying me that I have to import them manually. RE: Association of .reg Files by matty on 05-31-2004 at 01:08 AM
When fixing the file associtions this is how all three should look. RE: Association of .reg Files by CookieRevised on 05-31-2004 at 01:12 AM A big tip: Make "EDIT" the standard/default choice, not "MERGE"... this will prevent many mishaps, accidents, and other bad things. (accidently double clicking a .reg file for example) RE: Association of .reg Files by Concord Dawn on 05-31-2004 at 01:24 AM Ummm...I have no clue what you are talking about. And accidental double-clicking is really hard to do with the "Are You Sure?" box that pops up. RE: Association of .reg Files by CookieRevised on 05-31-2004 at 01:29 AM
quote:Windows Explorer > Tools > Mapoptions > Filetypes > [select REG] > Advanced quote:true, but clicking on "OK" very fast without reading is something that can happen to all of us. (spontaneous reaction).... And it is always nice to know what a regfile will add or remove in your registry... RE: Association of .reg Files by WDZ on 05-31-2004 at 03:53 AM
quote:I agree... that has happened to me before... accidentally merged a file that I exported like 4 months earlier... I don't remember why the confirmation thing didn't stop me... RE: Association of .reg Files by lhunath on 05-31-2004 at 09:47 AM
