Spybot....for some reason....erased my association for .reg files. Does anyone konw what it is in the first place?

A big tip: Make "EDIT" the standard/default choice, not "MERGE"... this will prevent many mishaps, accidents, and other bad things. (accidently double clicking a .reg file for example)

Ummm...I have no clue what you are talking about. And accidental double-clicking is really hard to do with the "Are You Sure?" box that pops up.

true, but clicking on "OK" very fast without reading is something that can happen to all of us. (spontaneous reaction).... And it is always nice to know what a regfile will add or remove in your registry...

I agree... that has happened to me before... accidentally merged a file that I exported like 4 months earlier... :wall:

I don't remember why the confirmation thing didn't stop me... :-/
