ive test these and there not just one off bugs.

1st, chat logs.

i set the password for the encryption, changed the files to make sure they where encrypted. i then pressed the "reset to defult" link/button this removed the encryption and the password protecting the logs.

2nd, sounds.

when any of my contacts sign in, i dont get the default msn sound

ive also cheaked the media thing in control panel and msn doesnt have anything asigned to it.

because not encrypting logs is the default behaviour :-/

tools > options > general tab > sounds , and assing one

it's the same. you have to assing one sound

Log's ok, i only mentioned because it seems a tad insure if some one does that and they can read you logs.


for the sound.

ive unstalled msg plus!3 , uninstalled msn , reinstalled msn.

and the sound is still fucked.

and the sound worked before i installed plus.

its a great program, but ive been let down by this sound malerkey and i havnt installed it again, and possible doubt i will in the near future.
