what version of windows do you have? and what version of windows media player? (of course I suppose you're with the last version of plus (3.01.94)). RE: RE: sounds by crossover on 06-04-2004 at 03:08 PM
quote: I have windowx xp home edition, and media player 9.00.003075 RE: sounds by Choli on 06-04-2004 at 03:15 PM
quote:ok. anc can you hear MP3s? Anyway, try to reinstall media player RE: RE: sounds by crossover on 06-04-2004 at 03:18 PM
quote: yep, i have a lot mp3's, i'll reinstall mp i'm pretty curious how those new sounds in plus are RE: sounds by crossover on 06-06-2004 at 10:39 AM msn plus still doesn't play sounds... RE: sounds by Choli on 06-06-2004 at 01:29 PM
are you sure you have ocnfigured properly the sound options in plus? (ie: play sound while busy and allow the use of sound commands) quote:of course, because MSN Plus is a product of Microsoft that has nothing to do with messenger. Please, notice that the software developed by Patchou is called "Messenger Plus!" and you can call it msg plus, mp!3 or just plus, but in any case it's msg (from MeSsenGer) and not msn RE: RE: sounds by crossover on 06-06-2004 at 08:21 PM
quote: I can't configure that anymore. it used to be in the sound config screen (or use the '/sconfig' command), but after the update is is gone, maybe its a bug..? cause I never have heard sounds quote: yeah I know, but i dont care RE: sounds by Choli on 06-06-2004 at 09:03 PM
quote:you can still use the /sconfig command. if not, go to the preferences panel (plus > preferences) and select the section: instant messages , subsection: commands & tags. There you have to select Allow sound commands. In the section: General Options , subsection: sound be sure you have enalbed plus sounds while busy. That should do. quote:but should care because it's the same as if you call "cat" to a "car"... you say: oh well, it's only a letter, but it changes all the meaning. Also there are legal issues and each software has to be called by its name (or, at least, in a way that can't be mistaken by another program). RE: sounds by crossover on 06-07-2004 at 05:35 AM
now it works! thank you very much!! |
