lol RE: ANOTHER Use Of Msg. Plus! by Patchou on 06-10-2004 at 06:30 AM you can use word filters to filter "say:" ? that would be pretty cool. RE: ANOTHER Use Of Msg. Plus! by Kryptonate on 06-10-2004 at 06:38 AM
quote:that doesn't work. Just tested it. quote:this isn't right too RE: ANOTHER Use Of Msg. Plus! by Choli on 06-10-2004 at 07:59 AM
yes, the /nick2 command can be used to hide "says:", but if you have a non-white background, you'll see it. And the "says:" of your contact will still be visible. quote:Yay!! that's a better idea and it works!. The filter "says:" -> "" (<- empty string) in received direction does the work. Then you can also add the filter "writes:" -> "" and you'll filter also in handwritten messages and you only see: nick text or nick ink message RE: ANOTHER Use Of Msg. Plus! by Fredzz on 06-10-2004 at 11:36 AM whats the diference about nick and /nick2???? RE: ANOTHER Use Of Msg. Plus! by Choli on 06-10-2004 at 06:27 PM
quote:When you use /nick with a nick that has colors or formatting (bold, italic, etc...), Plus! adds a "Ctrl + O" (format reset) at the end. That's useful when you don't want that the "says:" has a format and when you use /me or auto-messages so they are displayed correctly. /nick2 is the same but it never adds the "Ctrl + O". quote:use the /me command. Example /me says: Hello or just /me hello RE: ANOTHER Use Of Msg. Plus! by bnevets27 on 06-10-2004 at 08:00 PM
quote: well u could use the Truncate contact names, then put the amount of charaters it is for a line in ur window....what what i did, i have it at 35, with display pics and standard window size, 35 abit short but i can play around with it RE: ANOTHER Use Of Msg.
